Through the Window
When I know that you're around me
I can't deny how much you make me blush,
because your presence so confounds me
I don't quite understand why I get this rush
Because you told me you loved me,
then you quickly take it away,
You say that you trust me,
then you break all my boundaries.
Between you and me, I would say,
is an unspoken solitude
of bristling sparks --
How can I break through,
through the window of your heart?
How can I break through,
through the window of your heart?
Time's so useless in this stalemate,
no one ever wins, and the wildcard's stolen.
Couldn't we solve this just between us
with honesty and heartfelt open communication?
Not like when you
told me you loved me,
then you quickly take it away,
You say that you trust me,
then you break all my boundaries.
Between you and me, I would say,
is an unspoken multitude
of bristling sparks --
How can I break through,
through the window of your heart?
How can I break through,
through the window of your heart?
Now that we're finally here together,
things are going well, a happy ending's certain.
Shall we paint the picket fences,
or do we have to draw up another curtain?
Cos I still remember when you
told me you loved me,
then you quickly take it away,
You say that you trust me,
then you break all my boundaries.
Between you and me, I would say,
is an unspoken universe
of bristling sparks --
How can I break through,
through the window of your heart?
How can I break through,
through the window of your heart,
through the window of your heart,
through the window of your heart?
